Cold Steel's interpretation of the Sergeant's Halberd is representative of the battlefield incarnation of this historical tool. The head is forged from 1055 high carbon steel with a blackened finish. The distinctive halberd shape features a sharpened axe blade for devastating chopping power, a rear curved beak for hooking and grappling, and a central spear point for thrusting. Weight-reducing holes drilled through the blade serve both aesthetic and functional purposes — they lighten the head for faster handling without sacrificing structural integrity. The head is securely mounted to a straight-grained hardwood shaft via pre-drilled mounting holes. This polearm is fully functional, rugged, and durable.
