Shipping Policy
Free Shipping
We offer FREE SHIPPING on all products to eligible destinations within Canada and the Mainland United States.
Free shipping is provided using the shipping method and carrier selected by Medieval Depot based on the size, weight, destination, and other shipping requirements of the order.
FREE SHIPPING does not necessarily apply to every address or destination within Canada or the Mainland United States. We reserve the right to cancel an order if the actual shipping cost to a particular destination is excessive or cannot reasonably be covered under our standard free-shipping offer. If we need to cancel an order for this reason, we will notify you by email.
PO Boxes & Shipping Surcharges
Some PO Boxes, remote locations, and other destinations may incur shipping costs that cannot reasonably be covered under our standard FREE SHIPPING offer.
We reserve the right to cancel an order if the shipping cost to the customer's destination is excessive or if we are unable to provide free shipping to the address provided. If we need to cancel an order for this reason, we will notify the customer by email.
In many cases, we can still ship to these destinations for an additional Shipping Surcharge. If we advise you that a shipping surcharge is required, please search for "Shipping Surcharge" on the Medieval Depot website and add the Shipping Surcharge item to your cart when placing your order again. The applicable surcharge helps cover the additional cost of shipping to your destination.
The Shipping Surcharge may apply to, but is not limited to:
- PO Box addresses
- Remote or difficult-to-service locations
- Destinations where carrier shipping costs are significantly higher than normal
- Other addresses where the actual shipping cost cannot reasonably be covered under our standard FREE SHIPPING offer
The Shipping Surcharge is only required when specifically indicated by Medieval Depot. If your order qualifies for our standard FREE SHIPPING offer and no surcharge has been requested, you do not need to add this item to your order.
Order Processing & Shipping
All products are generally shipped within 2 business days of the order being placed on our website. The majority of orders ship within 1 business day.
We have taken extra steps to ensure that every order is processed with accuracy, care, and efficiency. Before an order is shipped, merchandise is inspected to help ensure that the items match the order and are free from apparent defects.
Depending on the size, weight, destination, and shipping cost of the order, we generally use Canada Post Expedited Parcel or FedEx Ground.
Customers receive email notifications regarding their order status, including confirmation when an order is placed and when it is shipped, along with the tracking number.
Primary Fulfillment Centre
Most orders are shipped from our main fulfillment centre:
Medieval Depot
2320 Tedlo St., Unit 3
Mississauga, Ontario
L5A 4A2
Canada
In some circumstances, we may ship an order, either in whole or in part, from a secondary fulfillment centre. Medieval Depot takes care to package and ship every order using an appropriate and effective shipping method.
International Shipping
Unfortunately, Medieval Depot does not ship internationally.
We currently ship only to eligible destinations within Canada and the Mainland United States. Due to varying import laws and regulations, customs requirements, duties, taxes, and other restrictions that may apply to our products, we are unable to offer international shipping at this time.
Customer Address & Undeliverable Shipments
Customers are responsible for entering their complete and accurate shipping and billing information in the appropriate format. Please carefully review your address before submitting your order.
Canada Post and FedEx shipments that cannot be delivered to the address provided by the customer may be considered "Undeliverable" and returned to a Medieval Depot fulfillment centre.
Undeliverable shipments may take approximately 5–10 business days to be returned to us and, in some cases, may take several weeks.
Once Medieval Depot receives an undeliverable shipment, we will contact the customer by email or telephone and arrange for the order to be re-shipped as soon as reasonably possible.
Customers are responsible for all additional shipping costs associated with re-shipping an undeliverable order.
Refused Packages
Customers who refuse to accept a shipment for an order that they placed with us on www.medievaldepot.com remain subject to all applicable policies agreed to at the time the order was placed.
Refused shipments may be subject to return shipping charges, a 20% restocking fee, and any applicable customs fees, duties, and taxes.
Shipping charges incurred by Medieval Depot for refused or returned merchandise will not be reimbursed.
